 he covid 19 pandemic\, few aspiring nurses from the Austin and Temple area
  came together voluntarily after finding out the need to unite the Indian 
 origin nurses to support each other. The SAINA executive board played a pi
 votal role in explaining the advantages of having an association. Executiv
 e board was selected from the volunteer nurses and proceeded with state re
 gistration of INAA\, bylaws were written and approved by the board. The NA
 INA leadership team met with the INAA board virtually and introduced us to
  NAINA\, and its benefits and discussed the steps in developing a new chap
 ter.\n\nINAA had the first virtual general body meeting on August 16th\, 2
 020 with 16 participants. We discussed the initial thoughts of forming an 
 association\, presented a PowerPoint about the benefits\, future\, and the
  need of developing various committees. We had a food drive to the Texas B
 aptist Children’s home during the Thanksgiving week. INAA provided a fre
 e webinar on “Mindfulness as a path to Resilience” by Sally Arnold in 
 December\, sponsored by Walden university. We did a cloth drive to the Rou
 nd Rock Area Serving Center in New year week\, many of our members donated
  clothes and it was a great success.\n\nINAA celebrated the most awaited v
 irtual installation ceremony on February 28\, 2021. It was a well-organize
 d ceremony with prayer\, lamp lighting\, messages from various national le
 aders\, felicitations from various dignitaries\, cultural programs\, messa
 ges and opportunities explained by various university representatives\, lu
 cky draws for the members from sponsors and so on. With the support of all
  NAINA leaders\, it was a great success. Thanks to all who made it possibl
 e.\n\nWe are actively working on adding new members and\, developing commi
 ttees. We will find the strength in each other and together we will build
